Great read for my 3 baby ducks

Received as a Christmas present. I don't currently own ducks but have been doing my research in anticipation of raising some this spring. The book has some decent general information, but seems to have been written about a specific breed - my guess is Muscovy - and then the breed name was just replaced with Duck throughout the book and poorly edited. Statements like "Ducks are not as aquatic as duck-derived breeds" and "In contrast to Ducks and other breeds derived from wild Ducks, Ducks do not spend as much time in the water." "Ducks are much larger than the more commonly kept white Ducks." It also claims they can fly; Muskovies are the only domestic duck I have come across that can fly, and they are different than regular domestic ducks in many other ways. So with all that, it is hard to know what is credible, relevant information about pet ducks in general, and what is specific to... muskovies? I am continuing to flip through it, but I will continue using Google and a Facebook poultry group as my main sources of info.

When my copy arrived, I opened to a random page and it instantly took my breath away and compelled me to sit down and read the entire book. From creativity, to concept, to captivating content, it is profound and deeply intimate, while at same time open and easy to read. Carl shines a light on love as only Carl can do - both figuratively and literally. Carl understands light as few do - whether it be sunlight, moonlight, or heart light - and his understanding of the light in all aspects of life is evident in this book. The tools and practices presented by Cynthia James at the end of the book, compliment and complete this work of love. Thank Carl - you are amazing.
